Some of us Lepley relatives are getting together to share family stories and photos in Van Wert, Ohio on July 20, 2026. We have Don Lepley, who together with his wife Millie published the Lepley Lines periodical. Some of you, or your parents, may have met him and his wife back in the 1970's and 1980's on their cross country Lepley Discovery trip. We, the Jacob Lepley clan, are indeed related to Don, and I will share the tree when we meet to explain the tree connection. While Millie has unfortunately passed away, Don is making the long trip out to visit with us in Van Wert.
As this is extremely short notice, I don't expect many to rearrange their summer plans at this point to attend. However, I would feel terrible if I didn't put the information out as soon as I knew this was happening, to give you the opportunity to be included.
The Great Grandson of Jacob Lepley, indeed the only remaining 1x Great Grandchild of Jacob and Eleanor Lepley, will be in attendance from out of town.
Our Van Wert hosts have been very generous with their time and have arranged a comfortable meeting place, and possibly some catered food options.
There are also some Lepley History activities which are planned for the days following the Van Wert get together (Jul21-23), however, those will be in Knox County, and will be centered around the larger Lepley tree. If anyone has interest in tagging along, they are definitely welcome.
As this is a public facing communication, I am reluctant to post too detailed of information, names of living persons, etc. If you have an interest in joining any part of July's activities, Contact Me, and I'll loop you in.
